Fill a small pot with hot (not boiling) tap water and place your resin bottle and catalyst in the pot, soak for a few minutes. This facilitates the mixing of the two components without bubbles. We used epoxy resin with a 1:1 mixing ratio for this example. Pour the amount of resin you need for your process into a small plastic or silicone cup. Equal parts of the catalyst are poured into the cup. Pour the solution slowly and continue for 3 minutes on the wood.
